This thread is for purchasing warships to be kept at settlements with a port, for use in marching troops across naval routes to other territories and for naval engagements.
These ships do NOT come with crews, you're purchasing the vessel and nothing else.

Here is a list of naval vessels:
Tier 1 Ships
Landing Ship - A standard transport vessel capable of carrying up to 1000 men, fairly large but lacks offensive and defensive capability, also not very maneuverable.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 500
Cost: 250 Gold per ship
Arrow Ship - A skiff used for moving groups of archers around for the purpose of naval combat, features two raised platforms on the main deck, one in the bow and one in the aft for positioning groups of archers to fire from. Can carry up to 100 men.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 250
Cost: 150 Gold per ship
Boarding Ship - Small and fast, these ships have sails to facilitate moving quickly. They are equipped with gangplanks and grappling hooks and excel at chasing down smaller vessels for the purpose of catching them in boarding actions. Can also be used to board larger ships with somewhat less reliability. Carries 200 men.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 400
Cost: 300 Gold per ship.
Tier 2 Ships
Tower Ship - A Medium sized warship with a tower in the middle of the deck, providing a high firing platform for archers for use in repelling boarding attacks. Has gangplanks for its own boarding maneuvers. Can carry up to 350 men.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 750
Cost: 400 Gold per ship.
Ramming Ship - Small and quick, equipped with an iron-pointed ramming protrusion, these ships ram themselves into other, preferably larger vessels, in an attempt to sink them. Carries 100 men for use in repelling boarding actions.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 500
Cost: 750 Gold per ship
Tier 3 Ships
Catapult Ship - A medium sized warship with a raised platform holding a catapult in the bow, these ships excel at sinking similarly sized vessels or larger ones from a distance, and can fire burning projectiles. Vulnerable to boarding and ramming however as they are not so maneuverable. Carries a crew of 150 men.
Requirements: Global Tech Score of 1500
Cost: 1000 Gold per ship
Warship - A large ship with multiple decks and raised platforms for archers. Excels at dominating smaller vessels in ranged and boarding maneuvers, this is a ship of the line vessel. Not terribly maneuverable, yet with good defenses against boarding. Carries a crew of 800 men.

Cost: 1500 Gold per Ship
